The Kiwanis Club of Evanston has been supporting the needs of children and their families in Evanston for over 85 years. In the past , we have had a rolling application process and would consider requests for funding throughout the year. In some cases, this resulted in our being unable to fund organizations that we would have like to fund, but that applied later in our fiscal year when our funds had been expended.
To address this issue and to better achieve Kiwanis' philanthropic goals, we are moving to a more formal application process by issuing a request for proposals for our 2008-09 fiscal year.
